OshriKa was created by someone who worked inside a senior care facility, and saw firsthand how outdated systems fail the people who need them most.
The origin story
OshriKa was born from firsthand experience in senior care facilities. Working inside a senior home, our founder witnessed the daily challenges: missed alerts that reached one place and relied on someone being there, hours lost to manual documentation, and the constant anxiety of wondering if the next emergency would be handled quickly enough.
Traditional nurse call systems were designed decades ago. They send one alert to one place and count on one person happening to be there. Then staff fill out paper forms from memory. This approach was never good enough. It just took someone on the inside to see it clearly.
OshriKa combines modern wireless technology, AI-assisted documentation, and a deep understanding of healthcare workflows to create a system where alerts reach the right staff instantly, and the documentation they're required to maintain is handled automatically.
